February 23, 2010, H7397, RI 2011 Budget Article 10, Relief of injured or deceased firefighters

Budget Article 10 dealing with Relief of Injured and or deceased firefighters will be heard in the House Finance Committee on February 23, 2010, at the rise of the house in room 35. This article effectively stops any new benefits that would come as a result of an injured or deceased firefighter after July 1, 2010. Existing basifies would continue. Call or email your legislators and ask them to vote against this proposal. DO IT NOW !
